Faking It season 2

After numerous attempts of trying to be popular, two best friends decide to fake being lesbians. They are launched into instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma and Amy decide to keep up their romantic ruse; but Amy has more than po

There was a key moment on this past episode of “Faking It” that certainly could change the entire course of the show … with the operating word there being “could.”

As you may recall, the crazy party ended with Karma and Amy kissing each other in the pool, and while this meant a lot to the latter, and could potentially change everything for them, the problem is that the former doesn’t seem to remember it. In the sneak peek below, you can see Karma listing out everything that she did on the night of the party other than the kiss. At that point, everything seems to be a blur.

So why did she do this? This may cause Amy to further ponder, and it does certainly add some credence to a theory that we’ve had ever since the midway point of the season: Karma has feelings, but she has yet to really accept or process them. They are more buried inside her subconscious, and they have yet to really fully surface.

After everything that happened, there’s a pretty good chance that they could. There are two different courses of action that she can take here: She can either start to accept and try to deal with them, or bury them and pretend they do not exist out of fear, denial, or something else. The choice that she makes will certainly define almost everything that is transpiring from here on out. The show, after all, has already been renewed for a third season.
